- Plot Synopsis
- After a “quick adventure” spirals out into an epic six-day event, Rick and Morty find themselves exhausted and in need of a break. A trip to an interstellar day spa provides them with a chance to “detoxify” and as a result, they are separated from all the negative aspects of their personality. The toxic Rick hatches a plan to swap places with the detoxified Rick and Morty and when his plan fails, seeks to toxify the whole world. This episode explores how life would change for Morty if he lacked the self-deprecating and awkward aspects of his personality. While Rick is eager to be whole again, it takes a little while longer for Morty to come around.
